Captain Alberto González de Audicana Galván
Santander, 1977. He studied Nautical Studies following the family tradition, at the Escuela Superior de la Marina Civil de Santander, of the University of Cantabria. In 1996 he embarked as a sailor on the ship MN Polanco and as a student in the merchant navy on refrigerated, chemical and general cargo ships. He has served as captain on various general cargo ships, often traveling to the Cape Verde Islands. In 2016 he passed the exams to become a pilot in the port of Sagunto.

Captain José María Blasco Gascón
Teruel, 1964, raised in Valencia. Studied at the Nautical Faculty of Barcelona in 1983. After his studies, internships and military service, he worked for a British shipping company, shipping on various coastal vessels in northern Europe, until he obtained his captain's certificate in 2002. He has worked as a captain on passenger ships in the Spanish Mediterranean and the Strait of Gibraltar and on a coaster in Europe.
He combines his professional career with the boarding of large sailing ships (bric-barges, paileboats and schooners) where he works as officer and captain. He started in the pilotage in 2007 working as a pilot in the port of Ibiza, he obtained the permanent position in 2011. In 2016 he got the position of pilot in the port of Sagunto, where he currently continues.

Captain Francisco Javier de Andrés Heredia
Madrid, 1973. 50 years old. Studied Nautical Studies at the Escuela Superior de la Marina Civil de Santander. He has sailed on ferries, Navy ships (as an officer of the Command Training Service), rowing boats, container ships and an oil tanker. In 2001 he took his examination at Warsash Nautical School (Southampton) and obtained the Certificate of Equivalent Competency of the English Merchant Navy for OOW (Officer Of the Watch). In 2004 he obtained by competitive examination the position of third deck officer on the ship Esperanza del Mar of the Instituto Social de la Marina (ISM). In 2006 he was promoted to first deck officer and moved to the ISM ship Juan de la Cosa.
Captain of the merchant navy since 2007. He began to take over as captain in 2009 and, again by competitive examination, he obtained the position of captain in 2010. He has been in command of the ISM hospital ships Juan de la Cosa and Esperanza del Mar. Since 2021 he is a pilot of the port of Sagunto, he got the permanent position after the corresponding exams in 2022.

Captain Sergio Bonilla Sabido
Barcelona, 1971. He studied at the Facultat de Nàutica of the Universitat Politécnica de Catalunya (UPC). He has sailed in crude oil refinery vessels, container ships, Navy vessels, supply vessels for oil platforms and special works, offshore tugboats and maritime rescue vessels. As captain, since 2001, he has been in command of the ships Bay of Bengal, Gulf of Siam, VB Arctic, VB Antarctic of the company Boluda International and in the Maritime Salvage ship called Punta Mayor.
He was appointed pilot on December 21, 2005 for the ports of Sant Carles de la Rápita and the industrial port of Alcanar at the age of 35, at that time he was the youngest pilot in Spain. Subsequently, he is pilot for the ports of Vinaroz and Burriana. Currently, he is the senior pilot of the Sagunto Port Pilots Corporation of which he was appointed in 2015.

Captain Óscar Millares Ortega
Cádiz, 1977. Studied Nautical Science at the Faculty of Nautical Sciences in Puerto Real (Cadiz). He has sailed in oil tankers (Suezmax), container ships, conventional propulsion ferries and CNL and Fast Ferries.
He has developed inspection and commissioning work for the company Balearia, modernization plan of its fleet called Balearia + project, and conversion to Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG). Captain of the merchant navy since 2005, with effective command since 2010 in the company Balearia, where he has commanded several ships being the last one the Ro-Pax / LNG, nicknamed Abel Matutes. Since 2017 he is a pilot of the port of Sagunto, he got the permanent position in 2019.
